What’s going on, CLT Scene & Beyond!

Watching our venues slowly reopen and bring back how the CLT Scene felt week to week is a slow, but welcome process as safety becomes each owner’s main priority. This week, Snug Harbor opens up with their signature Thursday Special, Shiprocked!, and not only that event, but the Junior Astronomers show on Saturday, booked, sold out, in ways that before the pandemic was rare. It’s awesome, to put plainly, but you know what’s possibly more incredible?

Entire New Venues Opening Up. That’s what.

Gastonia hasn’t always held a lot of ways to have fun and hang out out there, but The Rooster’s going to change that a bit. Along with Freeman’s Pub, The Rooster, founded & dreamed up by Michael Carpenter, looks to bring music not only from their area, but ours as well, opening up new possibilities to Charlotte being an epicenter of music on the East Coast. This weekend, the new venue will be putting on a fundraiser for the project, headed by a few bands local to CLT as well as nearer to Kings Mountain.

This is a bridge worthy of making between the areas, so if you’re looking for a new place to play and new territory to crave out, come meet the man and support, starting at 2pm on Saturday, June 26th!!
