Hey, CLT Scene & Beyond! It’s come to our attention over today that many of the events that we regularly chronicle have been hit with a string of cancellations, due to the public health concerns that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) poses to many of our music fans out there. Especially in Charlotte and in the greater Mecklenburg County, it is extremely important now that we safeguard ourselves against what’s been confirmed in our midst, but many of our local venues are taking extra precautions in order to keep the scene going in this curious time.
We at Reporting From 20XX as well urge you to take care of yourselves while our area recovers, but if you’re feeling well and doing as has been put out (Wash your hands/Don’t touch your face/Cover when you cough), the scene is still open in a number of places, and we’ll keep this post updated day-to-day while monitoring the situation.
