Happy Mid-Week Drop, CLT Scene & Beyond!
This is it, it’s the end of 2020, possibly the most substantial in many of our lifetimes, if not all. Life was upended in a way that none of us had ever expected (well… the pandemic, not the management), and as of 2021, we’ll be shifting yet again into a new reality, yet familiar at the start. As for the Weekly Wrap-Up’s, this has been a way to continue our outreach and still serve you, the community, in showing that even as our city’s venues have taken precautions by shutting down, the music itself still continues to be made.
So what’s in store? Hopefully we will have our cures before long, but the feeling is it will still be a bit before we see the dance floors of the music scenes across the nation, but hold out for it. You miss music? Miss your favorite bands out on the prowl? Rest assured, it’ll all come back, and till then, keep your eyes out on here for the faith our favorite bands have put into their sound in distanced studio time and home sessions.

“This week’s episode of Gabba Gabba Huh? Radio is not only a “best of” 2020, but it’s also a one year anniversary marker, and gives you a hint of what’s to come if you stick around for the whole thing! These are some of my favorite local songs of the year, and while not everything is included, it’s a pretty good representation of what’s going on in the NC/SC scene right now. The last couple of minutes of this (before the final song) is me, purely uncut and rambling, but I enjoyed getting a moment to talk about the podcast and what my upcoming plans are. Thanks for an awesome year, y’all… I got more in store for next year!”
