The RF20XX Weekly Wrap: 12/28/20 to 1/3/21

Happy New Year, CLT Scene & Beyond!!!

It’s new, it’s fresh, but it might also come with a bit of what made 2020 hard to bare. Regardless, we’re still going to be here every week to deliver the newest drops out of the Charlotte, NC area, with picks from visiting scenes all over the nation and even around the world on Sundays! The sound doesn’t stop, and you shouldn’t either, either as a listener or an artist.

This week, we’ve had the pleasure of also finding two *new* podcasts for the line-up; Josh Daniel’s In The Loop and the Queen City Music Podcast! As you already know with the Something Good For Ya & Gabba Gabba Huh ‘casts, along with music, we try to give love to everyone that in turn gives it to our scene here in the Carolinas, so check them out and see if you vibe with their broadcasts as much as we do. For a New Year, you know you’ve gotta see all the new things, right? Totally a requirement.

Need to catch up on what’s been going down? Come See What You Missed This Week!!!

“Surprise! Here’s a bonus episode of GGH Talks! that I made from the part of my Mystery School Records interviews I never got around to listening to! We recorded so much that I had a full episode before I got to some very important stuff! Audio issues aside (listen to the end to hear more about that), we talk about strategies for split releases, how MSR became the home for ANTiSEEN CDs, the guerilla recording process, and a bunch of Mystery School talk, as well as even more “peeks behind the podcast curtain”.”

The two discuss how she got into photography, musicians she has photographed, what is involved with getting to shoot big name artists and how the on-set of Covid19 has affected her photography business.”
