CONGRATULATIONS!!! CLT Scene & Beyond, if you’re reading this, you’ve officially made it to the 2nd Chapter of 2021, which more and more looks as through the clouds may soon part as we approach Spring & Summer of this year!
We hate to keep calling it, but one truth does prevail at least, that being more activity is bubbling up here in the Queen City as well as familiar sights around the country, where certain locations are aiming for a restart. We’re all looking forward to the time where we can put some of the lost time behind us, but for the moment, keep pushing through on the studio time and laying low till we get there.
New to this Double-Issue landing this week; Todd Johnson of the Revolvers has finally kicked off his new podcast “Making Noise”, complete with 3 episodes at launch! His style cultivates any talent thrown into his musical mix-ups, and in bringing his voice to occasional conversations, Todd aims to take the perspective honed on the stage to talk with some of Charlotte’s best! This week’s episode spotlight includes Nige Hood, who’s Folk Rap group just dropped a new album “Weird Shit” at the end of last year. As the weather gets warmer, look for him out in our scene, set to perform with Afroman at Unknown Brewing this April, courtesy of Eagle Nest Management!
With all that said, Let’s get to it! Need to catch up on what’s been going down? Come See What You Missed This Week & What’s Coming Up!!!
