Reporting From 20XX

Happy New Week, CLT Scene & Beyond!

Driving and walking around the city during the previous year was a lot like pacing in front of a movie set; with no ability to enter favorite locales, the inviting outsides of venues might as well had been cardboard cutouts, only a reminder of the real sides of Charlotte. Part of that vision looks like it’s cracking, however, with the announcement that The Evening Muse will be resuming shows & bookings in May!!! As one of the more varied and welcoming music establishments in NoDa, while it will be adhering to distancing guidelines, it is a big step forward for hopefully seeing the rest open in backward-domino fashion by Summer 2021. This week, we stare into the bleakness with Spanish Love Songs, trade manga volumes w/ Seph Dot, share in the love of sound from CLT’s hip-hop scene with The Hovis House, plus much more!

That all said, come see what you may had missed in the last week of music in the year 20XX!
