What’s going on, CLT Scene & Beyond?


While we haven’t exactly been quiet, as far as where our social media has been concerned, we’ve definitely taken a break from the Weekly’s as we’ve started taking a harder look at just how large Charlotte’s underground is, in all its moving parts. 2021 is bringing back the ability for us all to be more sociable again & make the face-to-face connections that is so important for us all. With that in mind, as we may had already stated elsewhere, what is out there is the question that will define what the year has in store for RF20XX, and we can’t wait to show you everything we find just under the Queen City’s gaze.

For this installment, I’m taking from some of the highlights of April as well as throwing back up many of the artists that dropped their freshest work just last Friday, as is expected to be the “last” Bandcamp Friday, including DOMii, VonFunkhauser, Simon SMTHNG, and Invader Houses. On the video-side, if you were away on the weekend of the 17th, come reacquaint yourself with the deep whimsical, alternative nature of The Eyebrows as they reemerge with their 2nd studio album in tow, “Fight/Flight”.
